FSGL 9/3 Recap

The 2003 Fore Skin Championship went to Team 4 before the third hole was over.  The remaining evening of golf became a ceremonious stroll through the backwoods of south Downriver on the hallowed ground that once hosted golfing bootleggers.  It reminded one of Lance Armstrong’s final leg through the streets of Paris on his way to winning the 2003 Tour De France.

OK, like I said.  It reminds ONE.

DanDub gave the cup up without a fight, only revealing a certain photo after Team 4 drank from it.  The Fore Skin Cup Presentation was so moving, it prompted Greg 2.0 to ask:  “How gay is this?” (I think he was secretly jealous.  That’s my thinking.)

Meanwhile, Dan used his glowing ball.  {insert joke here} Prizes were distributed fairly.  Gregular picked his prize within one minute, a personal record by, like, 1500% or something.  And SuperSub got the umbrella he craved, and got a good price on a dozen eBay-bought Nike Double C’s.  VeepWeen, CTU, got his yearly putter.  Now there is an old bit.

FSGL Poker/Skins Report: SandBagger missed the first hole and it cost him poker (probably) as CCJ beat him in a hole-off after tying.  SandBagger wanted to split the pot, but CCJ deftly cited his early-season rule for ties.  Way to think ahead CCJ!  Skins were split among some people.  Four I think.  I just know I got one.

Championship Night.  This is the night we play for money, er, no, well, we play for prizes, umm, everyone gets prizes.  I guess all we play for is the name on the Fore Skin Cup.  The most glorious and hallowed piece of pewter ever to grace Downriver.

Match Of The Week.

Team 4 versus Team 6.  This is for the cup.  Team 6 has had the cup for three years.  Who had it before them?  Team 4.  Team 4’s motto is “Take It Back” (thank you JB).  Team 6’s is “We don’t want anyone else to win the cup” I like Team 4’s motto better.  Then again, I may be biased.

After the golf, please go straight to HQ.  Big Al’s.  For the Cup Presentation, prizes, and food “on the league”.  Thank you “league”.
