FSGL 2K7 Weekly Press Release - Week 12 (2007-08-01)

Week 12 Preview

Links and standings are to the right.  Team 4 jumped right back into it!  Team 2 held back Team 1’s two week attack valiantly but now have to face the surging two-time defending champions.  Teams 3 and 5 will battle this week to see who has to leave the island.

Week 11 Recap

Toys in the attic / Monsters under the bed. Team 2 fought back.  But can they withstand another late season charge by The Captain & the Oops?  Even if the rest of the league is picking up their golf balls?  We shall see, after they mark up their balls clearly.  Team 2 has to play yet another Position Night this week.  Can Team 1 get back into it by being more successful on their BYE week than Team 4’s performance a couple of weeks ago?

FSGL 2K7 Weekly Press Release - Week 11 (2007-07-25)

Week 11 Preview

Links and standings are to the right.  Team 4 has suffered what could be termed an insurmoountable defeat by only getting 2 points on a position night bye week.  Team 2 immediately has shown signs of trouble in the second half, getting beat soundly.  And Team 1 is looking good now that the Prez in on hiatus.

Week 9 (frozen) Recap

All our might can’t change it at all. Team 1 took care of Team 2 like nobody has yet this year.  A chink in the armor?

FSGL 2K7 Weekly Press Release - Week 9 (2007-07-18)

Week 9 Preview

Standings and schedule are to the right.  The question is there for the 2nd half:  Can Team 2 handle the pressure with no more BYE weeks to lean on?  Stay tuned.  We are playing Week 9 AFTER Week 10.  Next week - Week 11.

Week 10 Recap
Well I’m a dark horse chompin’ at the bit. Team 2 took advantage of yet another BYE week.  Team 4 held serve.  Team 1 is hanging in there.  Teams 3 and 5 tried hard.

I spent a long time learnin’ how not to crawl. Christina is taking care of us nicely.  The burgers have definitely improved, says the Captain.

FSGL 2K7 Weekly Press Release - Week 10 (2007-07-11)

Note:  The Comcast issue is settled.  The usual files are now ready for downloading.

Week 9 was rained out!  I repeat - Week 9 was postponed.

Since Week 9 was Position Night #2, we agreed with some type of consensus to freeze that position night until the next time we play the front nine.  So we will continue with Week 10 on July 11.  On July 18, we will play Week 9.  Krazy Night has now been canceled to fit in the rest of the schedule.
